Passion and a unique eye for timeless yet contemporary design are the cornerstones of Nancy Mayerfield’s success in the interior design world. She has established a reputation for creating fresh and unexpected interiors, masterfully mixing modern and traditional design elements to create a distinctive yet inviting aesthetic.

Nancy works closely with her clients, elevating their individual style to fulfill their vision and create a home beyond their imagination.  Whether it’s a modern approach to an apartment on the Upper East Side or a traditional colonial in Westchester County, Nancy has the rare ability to tailor her design process to the individual needs of her diverse clientele. Nancy’s wide range of experience allows her to walk her clients through every step of the design process, from architectural planning and project management, to design and sourcing of the finest materials, fixtures and furnishings.

Nancy’s love of interior design began at a young age, a passion she shared with her mother.  Her interest led her to the studio of Victoria Hagan Interiors where she honed her talents, and eventually launched her eponymous New York-based design firm, NM Design House, in 2009. Through her design practice, she has built a portfolio of residential and high-end commercial work for a distinguished roster of clients throughout the United States. Nancy’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Aspire Design + Home, California Home + Design, Elle Decor, New York Magazine, Parents Magazine, and Traditional Home.

Nancy graduated from Cornell University, with a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations.  She currently resides in Westchester County, New York, with her husband and three children.
